Episode 8 is the first downloadable Episode for the PSN and Xbox. It cost around or so 500 of megabytes, but is a free download. It comes with new disguises and weapons.
Episode Story & Setting[]
For the first time ever, Naughty Bear is invited to a cake testing contest by the bears of the island. Naughty thinks they will finally befriend him, when really it is a trap. When Naughty walks up to them he offers the paw of friendship as they promised. But the bears, lead by Bubbles and Cop Gordon, trick Naughty as Gordon knocks over a jelly and presses a red button activating a spotlight signaling the mighty X-Bears and Danger Bear to come and kill Naughty. The Narrator tells Naughty to run, so he retreats to his hut but while the X-Bears prepare to attack (And two already found his hut!). The Narrator then tells Naughty how dreadful a thing it was for them to betray him, and he tells Naughty to go kill Cop Gordon and Bubbles for such acts.
Gear Introduced[]
The new equipment available in this DLC are...
The Rod of Justice: Complete with the laser eyes finishing move!
Danger Bear's Costume: The Bear of Platinum himself! (It's a single piece of clothing in the first NB game, it becomes divided in several parts in PiP)
Super Naughty: Ready to fight crime! (Same with Danger Bear's costume, it's a single equip in the first game, while you find all the parts separated in PiP)
Mighty Naughty: the Viking Helmet.
Sidekick Hat and Mask: Bubbles's suit for fighting crime (or so he says...)
Extra Challenges[]
For extra points, you can destroy the beacon lights. They are so big they cannot be moved, so just use any weapon.
8-1: Speed Run: Supersonic Heroes. Finish the mission before the timer runs out!
8-2: Friendly: Peaceful Vigilante. Use only the sabotaged items to kill.
8-3: Killer: Death to all Mutants! Kill everybody you encounter!
8-4: Top Hat: Stylish Superheroes. Everyone got ray guns!
Trivia[]
- This is the only episode to have two targets to punish instead of just one.
- Apparently, Naughty's favorite superhero is Danger Bear.
